In October 2024 I hosted my first ever destination workshop/ retreat in the beautiful Dolomites ~


For this edition, I'm back and aiming bigger than ever. I'll be collaborating with luxury renowned planner and stylist French Bague-ette to bring you three days of exceptional education, content + networking (that doesn't give you the ick).


We've brought back all the ingredients that made the Dolomites so special, and so much more.


I've been running them since 2021 and it speaks volumes that so many guests are cult followers who keep coming back. I'm proud of what I've built, not just because of the level of care that goes into every single one, but the people that keep coming back. I sincerely feel that this little corner of the wedding industry is one of the kindest and most inspiring. No big dick energy, just lovely people who love what we do and know there is enough work out there for everyone to thrive.


I am always working hard to bring you soulful, inspiring and never seen before content. Inclusive spaces, real couples and elevated details (fashion... florals... curated design) are a staple.

The Faye Wilde workshops are renowned for delicate, detail led design, new ideas and strong teams, featuring both established industry power houses and up and coming new talent.

Biarritz is perched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Pyrenees mountains boasting incredible backdrops for our scenes. Together with design and fashion, it's going to be a dream to shoot.

This workshop will be a blend of an end of season retreat to re-charge and creating next level content that will help you to connect with your dream couples and elevate your portfolio.


Provisional itinerary:

21st - Arrival + check in, sunset session, group dinner

22nd - Main shoot day including education, group dinner + optional drinks

23rd - sunrise session, check out + departure

Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (BIQ) – ~3 km / ~2 miles

This is the closest airport to Biarritz with both domestic and international flights. It’s only about a 5–10 minute drive from the city centre. 


San Sebastián Airport (EAS) – ~23–24 km / ~14–15 miles (in Spain)

A short drive (around 25–30 minutes) southwest into Spain, often used for flights around Europe. 


Pamplona Airport (PNA) – ~79 km / ~49 miles (Spain)

A medium-sized regional airport serving Pamplona, farther south. 


Pau Pyrénées Airport (PUF) – ~92–93 km / ~57 miles (France)

Another regional option to the east with some domestic flights. 


Bilbao Airport (BIO) – ~111 km / ~69 miles (Spain)

Major international airport with many flight options; roughly a 1.5–2 hour drive. 


Bordeaux–Mérignac Airport (BOD) – ~164 km / ~102 miles (France)

Larger international airport with many long-haul connections; about 2–3 hours by road or train.

TERMS


  • all abilities of photographers, videographers and hybrid shooters are welcome
  • equipment is not provided
  • ticket price is not inclusive of travel costs (including but not limited to flights, car hire and fuel)
  • tickets are none refundable, but you may re-sell your ticket if you're no longer able to make it
  • Faye Wilde reserves the right to capture photo and video alongside workshop attendees and exclusively publish content from the workshop to blogs
  • it's common practice to shoot behind the scenes, if you do not want to be in anyone's BTS please let the group know ahead of time so that we can avoid capturing you at work
  • the Faye Wilde workshop community is a gentle, supportive space, with good energy at it's core. attendees are expected to be courteous and supportive of each other, and respectful of the suppliers who have come together to make the magic happen.

Payment plans available. Split the cost with a £1000 deposit, with your final balance split into monthly payments.
