ALTHOUGH YOU WOULDN'T USUALLY CLASS A 100 PERSON WEDDING AS AN ELOPEMENT...
A lot of my Asian couples re-assure me that I am in fact photographing an extra small celebration. Hehe. This was a very special day! I love all of my couples but I was really invested in this wedding. Gorgeous Jigna and Shiv actually re-organised their legal ceremony so that I could photograph their day and it's always extra special when this happens.
from the city couples portraits...
... cocktails and the best curry of my life (I'm from Bradford this is high praise)! I felt completely trusted on this day and that makes a huge difference. We had followed each other on Instagram for months before the day, and I could see from what they were liking and engaging with what images they would love most.
Jigna wore an ASOS dress, altered to perfection and styled with chic jewellery, hollywood waves, and a rose only bouquet. With city weddings, I find the minimalist aesthetic works really well because it's timeless and we have more flexibility when choosing backdrops. You'll see that we explored various spots including Cank Street, which is where they had their first date. I am always up for incorporating sentimental places or things into your couples portraits, after all, your wedding gallery should celebrate your love language as a couple and the things that mean the most.
